Becoming a Partner Family
|

Sicangu Tikaga Okiciyapi- Habitat for Humanity strives to provide opportunities to achieve the goal of homeownership for families of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe. Since 2000, we have completed on average 3 homes a year. Building a Habitat Home is not something we do for you. It is a partnership. Habitat houses are sold to partner families at a no profit, no interest mortgage. Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat builds simple, decent, affordable homes. This is done with grants, donations, work groups, corporate gifts, and the partner families. Partner families are selected on the bases of:
Applications to become a partner family are normally taken during specified periods of the year. If you are interested in becoming a partner family call the Habitat office at 856-2665 or email at stohfh@gwtc.net. Give us your name and address When we get ready to take applications, we will send you a flyer that tells when, where, and what you need to bring to apply. |
